Below is the Email update from Hands of Mercy. HANDS OF MERCY UPDATE "For Such A Time As This" 2-26-10 "Who know whether you have come into the kingdom for such a time as this!" Esther 4:14 No time in history may be more exciting to live than the present, as forces of light and darkness are being involuntarily drawn together to become participants in G-D's final redemption of Israel. Waves of political deception, economic crisis and war continue to threaten the delicate balance of our world….especially with the advanced ability of Iran to soon have nuclear weapons capable of reaching our vulnerable Israeli cities. It's obvious that the ancient 'Prince of Persia and Haman' have once again re-emerged to challenge this covenant Land and people…as well as all those aligned with her. Also of grave concern are recent threats made by leaders of Syria, Lebanon and Hezbollah, as they improve their massive arsenal of biological and chemical missiles poised toward our vulnerable population centers. In preparation, our Israeli government has recently ordered the reissuing of highly-improved gas masks to all its citizens. Yet within the gloom of these ominous times, "WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR" considering G-D's great promises: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, but shall refute every tongue that accuses you." (Isaiah 54:17) "He who sits in heaven laughs, knowing that their days are numbered." (Psalms 2:4) ISRAEL'S NEED FOR YOUR HELP: In light of the above, we are privileged to continue serving together with you as we express our L-RD's love and comfort to the many struggling families here in this war-torn area of S'derot….as we prepare for the coming of our great Messiah King! "For who knows whether YOU have come into the kingdom for such a time as this"! We sincerely pray G-D's abundant blessings will be poured upon you and your family/congregation during this Purim holiday! Ye'shi Reinhardt and the 'Hands of Mercy' team PS: The 'attached Pics' will give you a glimpse into some of the great things G -D has accomplished through your help this past year.
As the joyous Biblical story of Purim is celebrated this weekend in synagogues and Messianic congregations throughout the world, we see through its text G-D's almighty hand of mercy stretched out to provide a dynamic salvation to His people. Considering the many threats which now face Israel and our world today, we are challenged through its text to also stand strong and fearless to meet the many battles that may lie ahead. The paradigm of Esther's selfless courage, risking her life to expose the great deception of the newly arisen enemy, remains a powerful example of spiritual strength to us all.
